Overview

This standard contains the German version of the second edition of European Standard EN 55032:2015, which is adopted by the second edition of International Standard CISPR 32 (edition 2015). It applies for the limitation of radio disturbance (or radio interference) of multimedia equipment and specifies the corresponding limits and measurement methods. This includes information technology equipment, audio and video equipment, sound and television broadcast receivers and associated consumer electronics equipment, entertainment lighting control equipment as well as combinations thereof. Until the end of March 5, 2017, the International Standards CISPR 13 and CISPR 22 and/or the European Standards EN 55013 and EN 55022 shall also apply in parallel to the aforementioned devices or equipment in accordance with their respective fields of application. Thus, until this date - - parallel to this standard - sound and television broadcast receivers and associated consumer electronics equipment still fall into the scope of CISPR 13 or EN 55013 and information technology equipment (ITE) still fall into the scope of CISPR 22 or EN 55022. Furthermore, until the expiration date specified, EN 55103-1 still applies to the emitted interference from professionally used audio, video and lighting control equipment, such as that used in broadcasting stations, studios and/or on stages. The requirements of CISPR 32 and/or EN 55032 serve for the limitation of radio disturbance via the housing (stray radiation) and on the individual terminations such as power supply terminals, analogue and digital data connectors, wired networks, antenna ports. Specifications of the International Standards CISPR 13 and CISPR 22 have been included in this standard. The main part of the standard contains the basic specifications applicable to the individual devices or equipment, whereas product-specific requirements can be found in the corresponding normative annexes. On the one hand, this concerns the limits to be used and, on the other hand, specifications for the measurement equipment, the measurement setup and the measurement procedure. Compared to the previous edition of the standard, the normative references have been updated. Furthermore, additional information on the structure of the DUT has been added in 6.3. In addition, limit values for radiated emissions based on the measurement in the full anechoic chamber (FAR) have been added to the corresponding tables in Annex A. Moreover, a new table with requirements for radiated emissions from outdoor units of satellite reception systems for home use has been added, and a new Annex H containing information on the use in the corresponding measurements has been included. These concern the derivation of the limit, the requirements for the measurement of the local oscillator, the operating conditions and the arrangement of the DUT during the measurement. Finally, a new Annex I has been added, which contains information relating to the use of other techniques - the measurement of spurious emissions in GTEM cells and in reverberation chambers. The latter measurement equipment is specified in the standards IEC 61000-4-20 and EN 61000-4-20 and IEC 61000-4-21 and EN 61000-4-21 respectively, whose German versions have been published as DIN EN 61000-4-20 (VDE 0847-4-20) and DIN EN 61000-4-21 (VDE 0847-4-21) respectively. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 767.17 "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit von Multimediageräten und -einrichtungen" ("Electromagnetic compatibility of multimedia equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
