The most important answers to network licenses

  • With the purchase of each document, you obtain a single-user licence — i.e. the document may only be used at one individual work station or by one person. With a network licence, more than one person within your company can use and reproduce the documents.

    The network licence does not include the purchase of the documents, but only the right to use them for the specified period.

  • As soon as more than one person in your company needs to access and work with a collection, you need a network licence for legal reasons. That also applies when colleagues need to cover each other e.g. due to sickness or holidays.
