DIN EN 55013:2017-03

This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55013:2013 + A1:2016, which adopts International Standard CISPR 13:2009 and Amendment 1:2015 with common European modifications. The standard describes the methods of measurement for radiofrequency disturbance voltage of sound and television receivers or associated equipment and specifies limits for the control of disturbance from such equipment. For this purpose specifications for distance voltage at the mains terminals, disturbance voltage at the antenna terminals, radiation and disturbance power are given. Furthermore, limits and methods of measurement for the wanted signal and disturbance voltage at the RF output of equipment with incorporated or with add-on RF video modulator (for example video recorders and decoders) are specified. The test signals used for operation of the Equipment Under Test during the test are also specified. Broadcast receivers for digital signals are specifically identified in normative Annex A and informative Annex B. Furthermore, specifications for statistical compliance of the measurement on series-manufactured equipment with the requirements and for representation of the measurement results are specified. Amendment 1 added specifications for audio/video players built into a television broadcast receiver. It also added DAB receivers to the tables specifying limit values for the interference voltage at the antenna input and the interference field strength. A footnote has also been added to Table 5 stating that instructions for measuring magnetic fields below 30 MHz can be found in IEC/PAS 62825. Furthermore, individual specifications relating to measurement have been changed and Figure 14 has been replaced by a new figure. Finally, a new Clause 7 has been added with specifications on the treatment of measurement uncertainty. The amendments also serve to adapt the content of CISPR 13 to the newer CISPR 32. The common European amendments concern Table 5, the limit values on which measurements with the RMS average detector are based. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 767.15 "EMV von Multimediageräten und -einrichtungen" ("EMC of multimedia equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
