This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55022:2010 which adopts International Standard CISPR 22:2008 with common European modifications. It applies for limitation of high-frequency disturbance (radio disturbance) of information technology equipment (ITE) and specifies the corresponding limits of disturbance voltage or disturbance current, disturbance field strength and the associated methods of measurement as well as the statistic evaluation method for apparatus from series production. Amendments with regard to the previous standard DIN EN 55022 (VDE 0878-22):2008-05 concern the non-invasive method (without cutting the cable) for telecommunication ports. Specifications have been incorporated in the case that measurements have to be carried out without an impedance stabilization network. Moreover, the method described in C.1.3 for measurement of asymmetric mode disturbance using a combination of current probe and capacitive voltage probe has been revised and the measurement method described in C.1.4 without using a connection of shield to the ground or an impedance stabilization network has been deleted. Finally, the normative references have been updated. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 767.17 "EMV von Einrichtungen der Informationsverarbeitungs- und Telekommunikationstechnik" ("EMV of information technology equipment and telecommunication technology") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
