The document specifies the interface requirements for rolling stock and the infrastructure for free access to the European railway network. Performance of the interface overhead line - pantograph is subject to conformance testing. The functional requirements for uninterruptible power supply are described. These requirements refer to the geometrical profile of the pantograph head and the dynamic vehicle behavior (for example, dynamic clearance gauge) and guarantee that at least one contact wire within the contact area of the pantograph head (including all tolerances).
