This European Standard defines parameters for interoperability in the field of interaction between pantograph and overhead contact line. The document specifies the interface requirements of rolling stock and infrastructure to achieve free access to the European railway network. The performance of the interface overhead contact line - pantograph is subject to conformity testing. The functional requirements for uninterruptible power supply are described. These requirements refer to the geometrical profile of the pantograph head and the dynamic vehicle behaviour (for example kinematic envelope) and they ensure that there is at least one contact wire in the pantograph head contact zone (including any tolerances). The standard describes parameters and values for all planned lines and future lines. Annex B gives some parameters for existing lines (informative). This corrigendum changes table sections in Annex B. The responsible committee is UK 351. 2 "Ortsfeste Anlagen" ("Fixed installations") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
