Short description
The document specifies the procedures used for testing conformity with the minimum requirements on automated measuring systems for the point-related monitoring of gaseous and particulate pollutants in ambient air. The guideline applies to all suitability tests of automated ambient air quality measuring systems, the use of which is intended for tasks in the area of air quality monitoring covered by law. Application is recommended in the area not covered by law. It does not cover the suitability testing of optical remote sensing sstems, which determine air pollutants by line-, plane- and volume-integrated measurements, or by volume-resolved measurements. It is not applicable to the individual components of measuring systems (e. g. sampler, analyser, sample conditioning facility), since suitability testing always includes the complete measuring system.
