Short description
This standard represents an extension and adaptation of the series of standard VDI 2067 to building construction elements. In order to allow an economic comparative calculation of both standard systematised components and individually designed compositions of components, the building is defined as a system boundary. This standard provides transparency for the comparability over the life cycle of the property and thus supports decision-making processes for the use of components. The standard is aimed at architects and specialist planners who, in the context of their tasks, are prompted by their own initiative or by the client to carry out required comparative calculations for the decision on the use of building materials and components.
