DIN EN ISO 148-1 Beiblatt 1:2014-02

This supplement covers test pieces which are not specified in DIN EN ISO 148-1 and DIN EN ISO 14556, but which have hitherto been specified in DIN 50115. Due to the publication of DIN EN ISO 148-1, DIN 50115 has been partially replaced by DIN EN ISO 148-1, which has integrated the determination of lateral expansion and per cent shear fracture (dull). The responsible Working Group NA 062-01-44 AA decided to publish the remaining technical information specified in DIN 50115 and not yet included in DIN EN ISO 148-1 or DIN EN ISO 14556 as a supplement to DIN EN ISO 148-1, and not as a residual standard. The publication of DIN EN ISO 148-1 specifies general information on test pieces. Specific test pieces are no longer stipulated, but included as an informative overview. This supplement has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-01-44 AA "Schlagzähigkeitsprüfung für Metalle" ("Impact testing of metals") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee.
