The special requirements contained in this part of standards of series DIN VDE 0100 (VDE 100) shall be applied for - circuits intended for supply of electric vehicles for loading purposes; - protective measures for recovery of electric energy from the electrical vehicle to the private and public networks. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 221.1 "Schutz gegen elektrischen Schlag" ("Protection against electric shock") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
