DIN ISO 6020-2:2018-01

This part of ISO 6020 establishes metric mounting dimensions for compact series cylinders, 16 MPa (160 bar), as required for interchangeability of commonly-used hydraulic cylinders. This part of ISO 6020 allows manufacturers of hydraulic equipment flexibility in the design of metric cylinders and does not restrict technical development; however, it does provide basic guidelines. The compact series dimensions are most applicable to square head cylinders. This standard contains the German version of ISO 6020-2:2015 prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 131 "Fluid power systems", Subcommittee SC 3 "Cylinders". The national interests during the preparation were represented by Committee NA 060-36-30 AA "Hydrozylinder" ("Hydraulic cylinders") at Technical Section "Fluidtechnik" ("Fluid power systems") at DIN Standards Committee Mechanical Engineering (NAM). Representatives of manufacturers and users of hydraulic cylinders were involved in the preparation.
