Overview

DIN ISO 6020-2 is the translation of the International Standard ISO 6020-2:2006 in combination with Corrigendum 1:2008. The third edition of ISO 6020-2 replaces the second edition (ISO 6020-2:1991). ISO 8131 and ISO 8138 have been incorporated into ISO 6020-2 and also replaced by ISO 6020-2:2006. ISO 6020-2 specifies metric mounting dimensions for compact series cylinders, 16 MPa (160 bar) and their connection openings, to achieve the required interchangeability of commonly used hydraulic cylinders. ISO 6020-2 allows manufacturers of hydraulic equipment flexibility in the design of metric cylinders and does not and does not specify technical provisions. It provides basic guidelines. In particular, the compact series shall be applied to square head cylinders.
