The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 542.1 "Schalter und Steckvorrichtungen für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche Zwecke" ("Switches and plug and socket devices for household and similar purposes") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Informational Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
