Overview

With this Corrigendum 1 clarification is provided in Subclause 9.1.1.2 "Determination of HAZARDOUS CONTACT parts" on the procedure to be followed when the voltage limits specified there are exceeded. An additional specification applies to the determination of HAZARDOUSNESS OF CONTACT for tropical devices with DC voltages between 30 V and 15 kV. The responsible committee is DKE/K 733 "Safety for consumer electronics devices and related systems" of the DKE German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies in DIN and VDE.
