DIN EN 55015 Berichtigung 1:2013-05

This Corrigendum corrects the term "Mains terminal" in DIN EN 55015 (VDE 0875-15-1):2009-11 in order to clarify which terminals are indicated, that means that other mains terminals for electrical lighting and similar equipment are not indicated. Moreover, the term "self-ballasted discharge lamp" has been replaced by "self-ballasted lamp". The standard is applicable to the limitation of high-frequency disturbances (radio disturbance suppression) of electrical lighting and similar equipment. For this purpose, the limits of the disturbance voltage and radiated electromagnetic disturbances as well as the minimum values of insertion loss are specified and the associated methods of measurement are described in more detail. The responsible committee is UK 767.11 "EMV von Betriebsmitteln und Anlagen für häusliche, gewerbliche, industrielle, wissenschaftliche und medizinische Anwendungen, die beabsichtigt oder unbeabsichtigt HF erzeugen sowie von Beleuchtungseinrichtungen" ("EMC of equipment and installations for domestic, commercial, industrial, scientific and medical applications generating HF either intentionally or intentionally as well as lighting equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
