This European Product Standard specifies the device requirements for multi-sensor fire detectors - point detectors with a combination of smoke, carbon monoxide and optional heat sensors, used as components of fire detection systems and operated in permanently installed fire alarm systems (FAS) in buildings. The system requirements and technical application rules are specified in DIN 14675 and DIN VDE 0833-2 (VDE 0833-2).
