This standard defines fire conditions for which it is reasonable to expect trains to continue to run in a controlled manner, and defines requirements ensuring this "running capability". This standard identifies the fire conditions for which it is not necessary to define running capability requirements as there is no significant potential for serious injury or threat to life. This corrigendum includes modifications to Annex B. The responsible committee is UK 351.1 "Fahrzeuge" ("Rolling stock") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
