This standard specifies the specific requirements for the safety related construction and operating characteristics, the rational use of energy and the marking of commercial gas heated boiling pans. It also states the methods for testing those characteristics. This standard shall be applied in conjunction with EN 203-1 "Gas heated catering equipment - Part 1: General safety rules". This supplementary Part 2 complements or modifies the relevant clauses of EN 203-1. In this revision of EN 203-2-3:2005, editorial changes are introduced.
