This European Standard specifies consumer information for classified floating leisure articles for use on and in water according to EN 15649-1. This document (EN 15649-2) is applicable with EN 15649-1 and the relevant specific parts (EN 15649-3 to EN 15649-7). This standard is a product standard which applies with DIN EN 15649-1 and -3 to -7. The standard deals in particular with aspects of (product) safety. This standard contains modifications to DIN EN 15649-2:2009. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 112-05-09 AA "Aufblasbare schwimmende Freizeitgeräte einschließlich aufblasbarer Boote und Zubehör" ("Inflatable floating leisure articles including inflatable boats and mountings") at DIN.
