This European Standard specifies the: - required inputs; - calculation method; - required and resulting outputs, for heat generation systems, thermal solar systems (for space heating, domestic hot water production and the combination of both) and for photovoltaic systems applied in buildings. In Germany, the Directive on the energy performance of buildings (2010/31/EU) of the European Parliament and the European Council is primarily implemented by national energy conservation law. National energy conservation law refers to dated national and European standards and national pre-standards that have been specified to be implemented in Germany. On the basis of the dated references, only the editions of these technical rules addressed in this manner are used. If the dated technical rules to be used under energy conservation legislation refer to undated technical rules, the latter shall be used in the version that corresponds to the status at the time of publication of the dated technical rule. This document (EN 15316-4-3:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 228 "Heating systems and water based cooling systems in buildings" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). Working Committee NA 041-05-01 AA "Energetische Bewertung heiz- und raumluft-technischer Anlagen" (SpA ISO/TC 205 "Umweltgerechte Gebäudeplanung") ("Energy performance of heating and ventilation systems in buildings (Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 205 "Building environment design")") at DIN Standards Committee Heating and Ventilation Technology and their Safety (NHRS) is responsible for the German version.
This document replaces DIN EN 15316-4-3:2007-10 , DIN EN 15316-4-6:2009-07 .
