DIN EN 1469:2015-05

This European Standard specifies requirements for slabs of natural stone that are made for use as cladding for internal and external wall and ceiling finishes. This European Standard does not cover aggregates and artificially agglomerated stone material and does not cover installation. Furthermore, this European Standard does not cover roofing slates used as external cladding and slates and stone products for discontinuous roofing. The document is a revision of DIN EN 1469:2005. The section on conformity assessment has mainly been amended. DIN EN 1469 has been prepared in connection with the Construction Products Regulation. The product standard is intended for manufacturers and dealers of natural stone slabs for cladding as well as testing institutes. The joint committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-03-11 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NMP/NABau: Naturwerkstein; Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren und Terminologie" ("Joint Working Committee NMP/NABau: Natural stone; Requirements, test methods and terminology") at Standards Committee for Materials Testing (NMP) and Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau) at DIN.
