This European Standard specifies safety requirements which need to be observed at design, calculation, manufacture, installation, maintenance, of mobile, temporary installed tents with more than 50 m2 ground area. This European Standard applies also to multiple small tents which are normally not covered by this standard and will be installed close together and exceed 50 m2 in sum. The main changes in comparison to EN 13782:2006-05 are: a) the scope has been adapted; b) the normative references have been updated; c) technical supplements have been carried out by taking the Eurocodes into consideration; d) the spelling of the terms and formulas have been adapted to the Eurocodes; e) the clauses have been restructured and condensed in content; f) non-technical information for inspection and approval procedures are now included in the normative annex; g) the standard has been editorially revised. This document has been prepared by Technical Commitee CEN/TC 127 "Fire safety in buildings" the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-11-15 AA "Fliegende Bauten; Jahrmarkt- und Freizeitparkmaschinen, -geräte und -bauten; Sicherheit (SpA zu CEN/TC 152 und ISO/TC 254)" ("Temporary structures; Fairground and amusement park machinery and structures - Safety (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 152 and ISO/TC 254)") at DIN.
This document replaces DIN EN 13782:2006-05 .
