Overview

This European Standard (EN 13146-4:2012+A1:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 256 "Railway applications", the secretariat of which is held by DIN. The responsible German committee is Subcommittee NA 087-00-01-04 UA "Schienenbefestigungssysteme" ("Fastening systems") of the DIN Standards Committee Railway (FSF). With respect to DIN EN 13146-4:2012-06, the following changes have been made: a) changes in the normative references Clause 2 and in 7.4. Adaptation to the amended standard EN 13146-1 (EN 13146-1:2012+A1:2014). b) In 5.1 "Rail" reference is made to the amended Subclause 6.1 for the length of the test specimen. c) In 6.1 "Sleeper or other rail support" the requirements for embedded rails in a channel in a concrete block and rails mechanically attached to the surface were specified. Furthermore, the length of the test specimen is specified.
