The major focus is on requirements regarding safety, construction and operational mode as well as hygiene aspects. With this standard it is ensured that the customer acquires a runabout cart which meets the requirements and demands existing in the field of mass catering. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 040-05-02 AA "Großküchengeräte" ("Equipment for commercial kitchens") at DIN.
