DIN 16196:2013-11

This standard applies for indicating liquid filled spring thermometers and gas filled spring thermometers with elastic measuring element in accordance with DIN EN 13190 as well as for indicating bimetallic thermometers in accordance with DIN EN 13190 with two control switches for electrical limit devices maximum. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 152-04-01 AA "Mechanische Druck- und Temperaturmessgeräte" ("Mechanical gauges for pressure and temperature") at DIN. With regard to DIN 16196:1991-12, the normative references have been updated and the German designation "Magnetsprungkontakt" has been changed into "Magnetspringkontakt" (en: "magnet contact"). Furthermore, the document has been adopted to the currently valid design rules. The definitions have also been adjusted.
