DIN 11868-1:2016-03

This document specifies the requirements for inspecting sampling equipment on milk collecting tankers for sample representativeness and sample-to-sample carryover. The inspection is designated as the verification. This standard is to be applied during the verification and its repetition (subsequent verification) and after all interventions affecting the function. Requirements for a type test are specified in DIN 11868-2. This document is intended as a replacement for DIN 11868-1:1999-11. Compared to this standard, the period of the main test after a passed repetition test has been set to at least three months and the temperature specifications for raw milk and skim milk have been changed. Furthermore, the specification of the maximum length of the suction hose has been deleted and the document was technically and editorially revised and supplemented and thus adapted to currently valid design rules.
