Short description
The standard covers energy-flexible factories and producing companies. The standard defines the process of identification and commercialization of energy flexibility as well as related terms. Energy flexibility measures can be: adaptation of process starts (short and medium term), interruption of processes, adaptation of process parameters, adaptation of the machine allocation, adjustment of job order, storage of energy, change of energy source, adjustment of break times, adaptation of shift times, etc. It develops the energy flexibility indicators, explains the various procurement markets and describes decision-making paths. Furthermore, a process is presented how to recognize and exploit energy-flexibility potentials.
