Short description
The guideline describes procedures for the calibration of current clamps. These must be traceable to national standards. This is valid specialcially for such measuring equipment, which is used within the range of EMV applications (electromagnetic compatibility), since due to the high frequency ranges within this area during the calibration and determination of uncertainty special difficulties arise. The guideline gives detailed instructions for the determination of the uncertainty of measurement associated for calibration. The procedures described in the guideline guarantee that metrological characteristic values considering economic criteria and according to sufficiently expressive methods are determined. At the same time it ensures correct and comparable measured values in the context of the indicated uncertainty of measurement.
