Short description
The guideline defined a procedure for the comparative power measurement of impulse tools. The descriptive measuring procedure based on the comparison of the initial tension force production of a continuously turning tool with an impulse tool with same basic conditions. Using this method the determination of a comparable torque using an impulse nut runner onto a defined connection is possible. The appropriate torque of the impulse nut runner is calculated over the produced initial tension strength. The guideline describes the measuring procedure, the evaluation of the measuring data as well as the documentation of the results. Traceable measurements and thus calibrations of the torque measurements with impulse nut runners are also further not possible.
