Short description
In the quality assurance of gears with involute profile, collecting checks and the determination of individual deviations are distinguished. Detecting individual variations includes for example flank-line profile variations, and pitch and radial run-outs. Here the computer-aided evaluation of measurements becomes more significance in the modern applications. The standard describes procedures for metrological determination and analysis of tooth-flank deviations and their computer-aided evaluation. The relevant parameters and required methods for measurement of tooth-flank deviations are defined. Also described are appropriate measuring equipment for these applications, as well as computer-aided evaluation.
