Short description
This standard is addressed to those responsible for the requirement specification, design, implementation and deployment of components, systems, and equipment. It is based on the requirements and specifications of the series of standards VDI/VDE 2182 and NAMUR NE 153 and deals in particular with the boundary conditions from the manufacturer´s point of view. As a result, implementation recommendations are shown, which are equally suitable for large, small and medium-sized enterprises. The standard does not contradict DIN EN 62443. The standard helps the reader to improve his development or development process in terms of IT security, and ultimately establishing IT security as a product feature.
