Short description
Mobility management for employers (BMM) is becoming increasingly important in companies. This is reinforced by the obligation to account for greenhouse gas emissions in more and more areas. This can pose challenges for companies and public institutions, but is necessary in order to set and achieve climate protection targets and minimise one’s own contribution to climate change. It shall be noted that the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions is not limited to the company’s own emissions, but that the emissions of suppliers or employees shall also be taken into account. Efficient BMM can both reduce emissions from the company’s own vehicle fleet and encourage employees to use environmentally friendly means of transport. This standard can provide support, particularly for the initial implementation of a BMM process, by showing detailed process steps for implementation.
