Short description
The present guideline applies to room control applications in the field of building services (cost group 484 in DIN 276). It will also be useful in requirements planning work as defined in DIN 18205. This guideline supports the dialogue between investors, owners, users, operators, constructors, planners, product manufacturers and companies carrying out the work so as to create the basis for a quality management system which is independent of the actual technological implementation. The present guideline will define the terms used in the field of integral room control planning. It is recommended that a detailed design specifications be drawn up in the sense of an expanded layout and materials schedule (room book) which also records what the automated functions in the room are required to do. This guideline may serve as an aid in this work. The guideline introduces a general model for system analysis and system demarcation.
