Short description
Results of repeated measurements for the assessment of noise in the vicinity may vary essentially among other influences due to changing emission and propagation conditions. The guideline presents methods which allow for a reproducible description by characteristic values and their confidence ranges of noise immission with levels variating over time. Thus a more differentiated description of noise immission and of acoustical surrounding is possible. Characteristic values are determined from collectives of measurement values using statistical methods.
