The standard describes operational requirements, that nitrogen gas springs have to bare up in automotive industry on the one hand and that are not to be exceeded by users on the other hand. The standard describes permitted mounting techniques and visualises false fixings using example figures. It gives maintenance instructions and describes the proper actions in the case of damages. The compliance with this standard ensures economical and save use of nitrogen gas springs.
