Short description
Based on empirical data, this guideline provides a qualitative standard calculation for procurement and operation costs for a planned deployment of industrial trucks. It compares battery-electric-powered and internal-combustion-engine drives. Internal combustion engine drives using LPG or the particle filters used with diesel engines have not been taken into account in the cost calculations. The guideline supports not only the industrial truck operator in his decision when he plans to extend or partially replace his fleet but also the planner who gets engaged for the first time in the deployment of industrial trucks.
