Short description
The activity sampling frequency method (MMH method) is used to determine time elements of operational activities and processes by means of random statistical sampling over time. One application of this method, which is used frequently in operating practise, consists in the implementation of unproductive time studies. For a better understanding, the procedure of the activity sampling frequency method is ex-plained by means of a real case study taken from the retail sector for the group of sales staff. The objective of this case study is to determine the time proportions of individual logistics, sales and administrative activities and using them as a basis for personnel placement planning that meets the demand.
