Short description
Personal represent a critical source of contamination in cleanrooms. Particulate contamination arises from the respiratory tract where it is released by speaking, exhaling and sneezing through the mouth and nose in droplet form, from the skin surface, and from the clothing. The document provides references to selection criteria for cleanroom personnel (medical, personal suitability), clothing (work place related requirements) and behaviour at the clean work place (training and further training, supervision) in oder to minimise contamination and its districution. The purpose of the guideline is to discuss the various measures which control possible interferences by the "human contamination factor" to defined levels.
