Short description
This guideline specifies the calculation of the energy effort for the distribution of heating energy between a central heat generator or chiller and distributed points of use. Water is predominantly used as heat-carrying medium. Other media (such as steam, refrigerants, oil) are not dealt with expressly, but are to be treated by way of analogy. The guideline describes the determination of the energy effort for the transmission of heat between the distribution system and the environment. The guideline considers centralised and distributed pump systems. The method is to be used by way of analogy for chilling systems. The guideline VDI 2067 Part 30 is part of a system formed by the other parts of the series of guidelines VDI 2067 and shall be used in conjunction with these guidelines.
