Short description
The guideline provides information on the ventilation and air conditioning of comercial kitchens and on the design and construction of ventilation and air conditioning systems. it applies in conjunction with all parts of DIN 1946. It does not apply to domestic kitchens or small comercial kitchens with a total connected load of less than 25 kW for appliances which give off heat or steam (cooking appliances, dishwashers etc.). An exhaust system is recommended if the connected load is less than 25 kW. In this case, ZH 1/37 shall be complied with.
