Short description
This guideline includes recommandations for the design of components made of fibre-reinforced plastics (FRP) which consist of individual fibre-reinforced laminae in which fibres are embedded in a plastic matrix. It records the state of the art regarding calculation methods for the development of FRP components. To a very great extent the guideline is based on approved methods which have already been tried and tested in practice and does not therefore necessarily reflect the very latest research findings, this affects methods used for strain and stress calculation.
