DIN VDE 0100-520 Beiblatt 1:2016-10

This Technical Report serves as a supplement to DIN VDE 0100-520 (VDE 0100-520) and explains the rules so as to facilitate the design, selection, erection and maintenance of wiring systems. It is intended for all those involved in the planning, selection and supply of equipment, as well as for persons who erect, maintain and use electrical installations. The following significant changes have been made compared to DIN VDE 0100-520 Supplement 1 (VDE 0100-520 Supplement 1):2008-10: a) revision of the scope of application; b) supplementary notes on electrical installation conduit systems, closed electrical installation conduit systems, electrical installation conduit systems to be opened, cable support systems included; c) supplementary notes on the selection and installation of cable and line systems according to the environmental influences with regard to mechanical stress and other mechanical stresses; d) supplementary notes on maximum temperatures of the terminals under undisturbed operating conditions; e) supplementary notes on the connection of stranded, fine-stranded and superfine-stranded conductors.
