Overview

For closed type, that is without interferences on the surface, in particular renovation methods, lining is dominantly used for renovation of damaged sewers and drains - both in the public as well as in the private domain. This DIN SPEC applies for liners connected to premises for renovation of damaged service connections and drains with circular cross sections, usually in nominal widths from DN 100 to DN 200. These drains are intended to discharge waste water in accordance with EN 12056-1:2001 and DIN 1986-3:2004. Liners connected to premises can be used for renovation of sewers with circular cross sections made of concrete, reinforced concrete, clay, fibre cement, GRP, PVC-U, PE-HD and cast iron, provided that the cross section and condition of the sewer to be renovated meet the process-related requirements and the static and hydraulic requirements.
