This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-06-42 AA "Prüfung von flüssigen Kraftstoffen und Heizölen" ("Testing of liquid fuels and fuel oils") of the Fachausschuss Mineralöl- und Brennstoffnormung (FAM) (Standardization Committee for petroleum, fuels, lubricants and related products (FAM)) of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP). Supplement 1 to DIN 51757 contains guidance for the users of DIN 51757 regarding the national adjustments, supplements and differences which have developed over time to the scopes of ASTM D 1250-80 and API STD 2540:1982 VOL XIV. It also provides some guidance regarding the use of individual calculation steps.
