• DIN was designated by CEN and ISO to run the registration authority (RA) decribed in the standards EN ISO 18542-2. The registration authority for repair and maintenance Information (RA RMI) maintains and updates a teminology collection on road verhicle parts, called Digital Annex (DA). The RA does so in cooperation with vehicle manufacturers and indenpendent operators of vehicle repair businesses. The Digital Annex is a trilingual terminology collection available to all interested parties and defines a list of several hundred vehicle parts. Each vehicle operator has available a mapping of their proprietory terminology for those same vehicle parts. The DA forms a bridge into the terminology worlds of various vehicle manufacturers and allows for a better understanding of proprietory terminology used by different manufacturers. The ZIP-File downloadable here contains two files of the digital annex in XLSX and CSV format together with a readme file.
