Overview

This standard is a detail standard for heavy load relay with current sensing. The standard applies in conjunction with VG 96928-2 for 200 A heavy load relay for vehicle electrical system voltages up to DC 24 V in accordance with VG 96916-5 and DC 28 V in accordance with MIL-STD-1275E. Relays in accordance with this standard can be used at ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 70 °C. The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-16 AA "Relais" ("Electromagnetic relays") of DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). Relays according to this standard are subject to approval according to VG 95211.
