This standard is a basic standard for electromagnetic compatibility. The standard specifies the requirements for measuring devices to be used for measurements according to VG 95214 for determination of the transfer impedance/screening attenuation. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 140-00-20-02 UA "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (EMV); Messverfahren, Messgeräte und Grenzwerte (NEA 763.2)" ("Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC); Test methods, test equipment and limits (NEA 763.2)") of the DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE).
