This test standard has been prepared by Standardization Committee NA 140-00-22 AA (Technische Dokumente und Maschinenelemente (NABw TD/Ma)) (Technical documentation and machine elements (NABw TD/Ma)) of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. It specifies the dimensions as well as the arrangement and the gap between bumps of the APG (Aberdeen Proving Ground) test course. This bump course serves for inspection and comparison of weapon stabilization systems of military wheeled and tracked vehicles. Among other things the loading capacity of various units and components is determined.
