This standard has been prepared by Standardization Committee NA 140-00-22 AA (Technische Dokumente und Maschinenelemente (NABw TD/Ma)) (Technical documentation and machine elements (NABw TD/Ma)) of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. The presented standard is a selection standard for welding. It specifies the welding materials approved for welding activities on armour steel for military products in accordance with TL 2350-0003 of the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). This standard does not apply to welding on aircraft and aeronautical equipment as well as on boats and ships of the German Navy (Bundesmarine).
