This standard has been prepared by the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN, Committee NA 140-00-22 AA "Technische Dokumente und Maschinenelemente (NABw TD/Ma)" ("Technical documentation and machine elements (NABw TD/Ma)"). The presented standard is a basic standard for drawing sets. It shall be applied if structure overviews shall be prepared on behalf of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). The structure overview is the diagrammatic representation of the breakdown of a drawing set of an equipment (a group) which is/are composed of several subordinate groups. It shows the interconnection of the groups and connecting elements within the equipment (group).
